He has practiced in Tucson for 30 years. He is board certifi ed in orthopedic surgery. His philosophy is to take care of the patient first.

Dr. Wood earned his medical degree at Oregon Health Sciences University. He completed an internship at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, an orthopedic residency at Harbor – UCLA Medical
Center and a fellowship in hand surgery at Los Angeles Orthopedic Hospital.

Professionally, Dr. Wood has held many leadership roles. He is a former president of the Arizona Chapter
of the Western Orthopaedic Association, former chief of staff at El Dorado Hospital and former chairman of the department of surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
