Tim Knoll is a Certified Physician Assistant working primarily in the operating room and he joined Southern Arizona Orthopedics in 2010. Originally from Salina, KS, he graduated from the University of Kansas in 2003 and then moved to beautiful Tucson where he fell in love with the area. Tim moved to New England for PA Studies at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science in Worcester to further his medical career.

While in school, he fell in love with orthopedics and learned quickly that patient care is and should be the number one priority for medical professionals. In his spare time, Tim enjoys playing tennis and any other number of other outdoor activities, including bicycling and running. He also enjoys studying and constantly learning more about the field of orthopedics. Tim is very excited at the opportunity to work with so many accomplished orthopedic surgeons at Southern Arizona Orthopedics and to be back in the Old Pueblo.

George Bradbury, M.D.

Dr. Bradbury is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Bradbury received his undergraduate degree in biology at University of Chicago. He then moved to Baltimore where he earned his Doctorate at John’s Hopkins University School of Medicine. He fell in love with Arizona during medical school while working on the White Mountain Apache Reservation. This experience drew him to our state to complete his Orthopedic Surgery residency at University of Arizona.

After completing residency Dr. Bradbury served as an orthopedic surgeon in the United States Navy. He was stationed for two years in Japan and then returned to Great Lakes Naval Hospital. He departed as a Lieutenant Commander, and returned to his home town St. Louis, Missouri. He joined a private practice at DePaul Medical Center, but simultaneously did a fellowship in sports medicine with Dr. Don Shelbourne at the renowned Methodist Sports Medicine Center. While in St. Louis he also served as Section Chief of Orthopedic Surgery and Assistant Head of the Department of Surgery at DePaul Medical Center. He was responsible for spearheading numerous projects to improve the quality of medical care and standardize treatment protocols.

Dr. Bradbury has served as team physician for numerous high schools, Lindenwood University, and minor league professional basketball, indoor soccer and arena football teams. He has a strong emphasis on the care of sports related injuries to athletes of all levels. As a competitive Ironman triathlete, he understands the dedication and motivation of active individuals.

He is uniquely qualified to help patients pursuing a healthy lifestyle. The call of the desert southwest was too strong to resist, and Dr. Bradbury returned to Tucson. Currently the Chief of Orthopedics at Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital, Dr. Bradbury was very excited to join his colleagues at Southern Arizona Orthopedics in March 2009.
